Reviews
Six years on with prostate cancer and I am still around to write this review. All because my local hospital suggested that I was an ideal candidate for one of Dr Birtle's clinical trials. It was the best decision I have ever taken. Dr Birtle inspires confidence. She has always shown the utmost care and attention and, as time has shown, provided the best possible treatments. Her manner is admirable, I cannot speak too highly of her.
Dr Birtle is a very thoughtful and caring doctor. She has been a tremendous help to me in my journey with prostate cancer. I have always felt very safe with her and greatly respect her level of competence. An excellent doctor.
Following a gradual rise in PSA returned results my continuing prostate cancer care was transferred from another region. After my initial consultation with Alison I was delighted she agreed to take over my care. Following a detailed history she outlined a treatment programme which left me with total confidence in her care. Her easy approachable manner, active listening and clear explanation of what was involved helped greatly, leaving me looking forward to a positive outcome.
Five years ago I was diagnosed with aggressive Prostate cancer. This was when I first met Dr Birtle. The fact that I am still here is testament to the skill and treatment I have received while under her care.I have always found her willing to listen and assist with any problem I have had.Prior to my diagnosis I had been living abroad for a number of years .During this period I had met specialist Doctors from all over the world and I
consider Dr Birtle to be of international class, amongst the best in her profession and discipline.
Alison has been excellent in everything she has done. was good to chat to and was interested in what I had to say. The staff overall at the Royal Preston Hospital have been excellent. Thank you for my treatment
